WSET Intermediate Certificate

WSET Advanced  Certificate
Anthony has the WSET Diploma in Wines and Spirits and is a member of the Institute of Wines and Spirits and the Association of Wine Educators.  He is also accredited by CIVB as a tutor of Bordeaux Wines and by BIVB as a tutor of the wines of Burgundy.

As a WSET Recommended Tutor, he runs courses leading to their Intermediate and Advanced Certificate Qualifications. These are essential for anyone who sells wine, whether in a restaurant, bar or shop but many people who are not in the industry, but who wish to extend their knowledge about wine, find them beneficial.

Courses are run on a regular basis through the year but Anthony can deliver the courses at any suitable venue for eight to twelve delegates.

In 2007 we were pleased to open a training resource at Ivy House and now run Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced courses here on a regular basis.



All AS&A courses are delivered with our unique PowerPoint presentation which enables us to bring the subject to life by means of photographs and animated diagrams.

Anthony visits wine areas on a regular basis to keep his knowledge up-to-date including study tours to all European wine areas and some in the new world.  He also won the UK final of the ‘Ambassadeur de Champagne’ concours for wine educators and represented the UK in the European final in Epernay where he won the jury's special prize for best presentation.
